Self-contained accommodation in the captain's cabin of a Dutch Barge. The accommodation is compact and cosy and affords delightful views of the River Thames. It comprises a wheelhouse doubling as a kitchen, a small living room and a bedroom with shower and chemical toilet. It is ideal for ONE PERSON but a folding bed is available for guests.

Electricity, water, council tax, and wifi are included.

The barge is moored at the bottom of a very large garden, on a country stretch of the Thames. The tenant has use of the garden where they can watch swans and other water fowl, enjoy fishing and watch yachts and pleasure craft go by.

The accommodation is within walking distance of Thorpe Park, well worth a visit. It is also within a short driving distance of Royal Holloway University, St Peter's Hospital, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and close to Runnymede where the Magna Carta was signed and the John F Kennedy Memorial. There are also short bus rides to Staines, Chertsey and Egham stations all with links to London.

There are some nice country pubs in the area and ample opportunity for walking and fishing.
