Summary: My place is close to Bromley-By-Bow London Underground Station (5 mins walk). It's also close to Devons Road DLR station (10mins walk). Tesco Bromley By Bow Superstore is nearby (7mins walk) and there is also a Sainsburys supermarket. 3 Mills Studios is about 10mins away and has some nice cafes (it's been a while since I went there!), Mile End station and Mile End Park, Stratford station, Stratford Olympic Park, Stratford Westfield shopping centre, Queen Mary's University and Whitechapel are also close by. Accommodation description
My place is a ground floor flat with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (you would have your own bath/shower and toilet). You would share with just one other person - moi!

The Room:
Its just one room (I was going to let my entire place then changed my mind and couldnt figure out how to make changes).
Double bedroom with a double bed and large wardrobe. The bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the flat which is great for more privacy.

Kitchen/diner/living room
There is a washing machine, electric cooker/hob. No tumble dryer, microwave or dishwasher (yet) and no TV but there is wifi.

Patio
There is a generous sized patio which can be accessed via the living room. Smoking out there is a-ok but not inside sorry.

Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible as my place is on the ground floor and is on one level (except the patio which has one step but that could probably be adapted).
There are no stairs in the flat

Doorways are about 32 inches which is wheelchair chair accessible according to my Internet search). Fitting a wheechair into the bathroom could be tricky so I think you would need some mobility to walk 3/4 steps while leaning on the bath.

My place is quite minimal and open plan so it is easy to navigate if you are visually impaired (see pics).

My place is 5mins walk from Bromley by Bow tube station (which is served by the Hammersmith and City/pink line and the District/green line) and about 10mins walk to Devons Rd DLR station.
Bromley by Bow is due to have step free access soonish and Devons Rd DLR already has lifts. There are also bus routes nearby.

Travelling from my place to the station on the other side of the motorway in a wheelchair is relatively longer (20mins?) but definitely doable.

There is an entry phone system for the main door that can be set up to allow access via your mobile.
