I'm Jude. I'm looking for a lovely, pet-friendly place to live with these two (knee-high) dogs are with me. They're house-trained, still a little nervous and not road-wise, but very sweet. We need a quiet space where they can be shut away safe. They're playful, fairly docile but they chase cats who run (and totally cack themselves at a cat that stands its ground).
I want to live somewhere peaceful, beautiful and friendly with good access to Bristol. Good communication and willingness to be direct and kind is proper important.
I love A-frames, lofts and rural bliss. I like spacious spaces and high ceilings. I like a lovely dance between autonomy and sharedness, or just autonomy (annexes, standalone property - it's all good). Whether shared or solo, it's really important to me to be able to close my door and hibernate from time to time.
I'm definitely open to buddy-ups too. What would be particularly amazing would be people who would like dogs without the responsibility and cost of owning them (I've moved in with people to have this before I had these girl dogs). All the loving, none of the bills, still a fair amount of hair.
I can't be arsed to party, certainly not at home, and I don't drink anyway, so any partying that could occur would probably involve a bit too much coffee and an ice cream sundae, possibly a bit of dried liver (dog-directed). When I have the choice, I don't have a TV. As you can see, I'm living it large.
I'm an actor/coach/consultant/writer/ copywriter/tranlsator/games designer/massage person and other job-doer. I am freelance. I like to go out of the house to work. I am at home quite often, though.
I own a flat in Edinburgh, so I'm aware of what I look for in a tenant - mostly honesty, considerate behaviour, someone who's lovely to neighbours, pays rent on time without fail, communicates etc.
Although I am a good lodger, what I'm interested in here is a share where it feels as much my home as yours, so sharing with other renters is my preference.
Thanks
