A NOTE ON COMPARING RENTS

Please ensure that you understand the rent rate so that you compare apples with apples when looking at rents.

Many people landlords as well as tenants make the error of considering there to be 4 weeks per month. There aren't. If there were that would mean that there are 48 weeks in a year. There are 4. 3333 weeks (approximately) per month ON average.

To convert any monthly rate to a weekly rate, do not divide by 4. Instead take the monthly rate x 12 months then divide by 52 weeks. (which is nearly the same as simply dividing by 4. 333).

To convert any weekly rate that you see advertised. you should ensure that you also multiply UP by 4. 333. Or multiply the weekly rate by 52 and then divide by 12.
